noodles is a japanese indie rock band that was lead by @yokoktxoxo, formed in 1991 and active for much of the late 90s and 2000s. The peak of their popularity might be from being featured as the titled track for a great romance movie called Love My Life, with an original song recorded by noodles for the movie. Additionally, in America they would mostly be known as the opening band to the pillows during their many USA tours. The frontman for the pillows, Sawao Yamanaka, is the owner of Delicious Label, which is where noodles has released most of their work through.

noodles has a distinct dreamy pop rock sound with a bit of an edge and a lot of soul. They were originally a 4-piece band, but now it's down to just the guitar and bass - Yoko and Ikuno. Yoko has another band with Sawao Yamanaka called Casabalanca. They're pretty good, too.

Their music is not on Spotify and frankly, I hate to see this band I love fade into obscurity.
